Our Services

At the Centre for Native Nation Builders, we’re in the incubation phase, but our commitment to transformative change is unwavering. Our focus is on a few foundational services that will grow as we do. Here’s how we’re making an impact today:

Policy & Research

We are building pathways that lead to true First Nations sovereignty. Our policy and research services focus on:
  • Relational Frameworks: Developing systems that prioritize and strengthen Nation-to-Nation relationships.
  • Governance Models: Creating governance structures that honor First Nations’ values, fostering autonomy and resilience.
  • Economic Development Research: Conducting research that supports economic liberation and long-term prosperity for First Nations, crafting policies that dismantle colonial barriers to growth.
  • Decolonization of Policies: Guiding governments and organizations through the process of decolonizing existing policies, ensuring they align with the values and rights of First Nations and truly support self-determination.
Each project in this area is designed to equip First Nations with the tools, knowledge, and policies needed to lead their own futures, firmly rooted in their own knowledge systems.

Consulting Services

Our consulting services are centred on providing tailored support to Nations and their partners. We specialize in:
  • Community Planning: Working directly with First Nations to co-create adaptable community plans that reflect Nation priorities and long-term visions.
  • Relationship-Building: Helping organizations and Nations establish genuine partnerships based on respect, reciprocity, and mutual understanding of value systems.
  • Strategic and Economic Development Planning: Offering guidance on projects that reflect First Nations’ values and support sustainable growth, from economic initiatives to cultural and community planning.
  • Reconciliation Planning: Assisting organizations in creating actionable reconciliation plans that move beyond statements and into meaningful, measurable commitments to First Nations communities.

Our consulting approach is grounded in collaboration and authenticity, rejecting one-size-fits-all solutions in favour of strategies that respect and empower First Nations.

What’s Next

As we continue to incubate, we’re excited about the future services we’ll develop to serve the needs of First Nations and people of the Pacific. Every service we offer is a step toward a collective vision of sovereignty, self-determination, and real land back in action.
